Our Story
Our company was founded in memory of our father, Barry Wayne Stevens—a man whose legacy continues to inspire everything we do. Barry’s journey began on the basketball court, where his love for the game taught him discipline, teamwork, and determination. These same values would later become the foundation of his passion for construction. After stepping away from athletics, Barry found a new calling in construction, a path deeply rooted in his family history.
Our grandfather, W.T. Stevens, was the founder of WT Stevens Construction Inc., a respected name in the underground utilities industry. Through his dedication and hard work, he laid the groundwork for a family legacy built on integrity, excellence, and service to the community. Barry, one of W.T.’s children, carried that legacy forward with pride and purpose. He played a vital role in growing and strengthening the company, especially in the areas of demolition and paving.
Inspired by our father’s work ethic and vision, BWS Legacy Construction LLC was created to honor both his memory and the generations that came before him. Every project we take on is a reflection of our family’s commitment to quality, safety, and community impact. We specialize in underground utility infrastructure and offer a wide range of services, including horizontal directional drilling, water infrastructure, hydro excavation, utility location, as well as trucking and dumping services.
